Sorry for the delay in getting back in touch with you. Just
wanted to let you
know I received the cables, and they're great, just as I expected! My system
never sounded so good. It's amazing what you can do with carefully selected
and
tweaked components and good cables, even if the components aren't exactly
audiophile-grade. I've listened to $12K speakers in $25K systems and mine
still
equals or betters them. I keep telling everyone that they need to fine-tune
with
good cables, but they don't believe me until I show them the differences in
sound quality between your cables and the junk they're using. When I tell
them
the price, they can't believe it- they've been corrupted by the siren songs
of
exotic cable manufacturers!
Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
MJ from IL
Well, I'm happy to say that after several weeks of
listening to your IC's that I purchased from you, that I'm quite impressed
with the price to performance of these cables. Great smooth, natural
sound, not bright or too forward. But not laid back either.
Pretty much right where I like my music. I have just barely got about
50 or so hours on them, but I'm pretty excited with how much sound I'm
getting out of them right now. I believe these will open up the sound
stage of my system even more with added break in. Very nice cables,
and you just can't beat the great price and great customer service.
Thanks again...

I got them, and they're awesome. Thanks for the best
value in audio cables. More detail springs out from all around me, and
high frequency extension has been greatly increased over the previous cables
I was using (Radio Shack Fusions). Strings and cymbals especially
sound much more lifelike, but everything sounds more natual. Thanks
again, for the great work!

...Just getting back to you, I got the cables, but haven't
had a chance to hook them all up yet, i've been working 50 hour+ weeks at my
job, but so far the speaker wire is amazing. Much more detailed then
the monster xphp im using now, the voices are much more accurate, I love it!
As for the coaxial cable a slight bit of more detail in movies, the highs
are easier to hear, and as for music it sounds much clearer. The sub
cable strangly doesn't sound very different, just has more power? I
hooked it up and the bass was stronger, not really what i was expecting, but
exciting non the less. Haven't had a chance to hook up the 6 channel
audio yet, but the component video cables met a tragic fate. I was
hooking them into my sony kv32hs510, and i had to hook them up in back.
Usually i take the tv out of its place in my entertainment stand, but i just
left it there this time. I pushed the first two in, and on the red
cable i pushed a little two hard, and the tv slide out of its place.
Very shocking since it weighs 180 lbs, but it slide non the less, right out,
fell, and procedded to destroy the cables. The bullet plugs are now
bent, one of them has a cracked case, and one was ripped right off. In
the dvd player, they were bent, but not to badly, but now are deamed
unusable. Not sure what to do at this point...[His
cables were replaced at no charge...]

I just wanted to pass along a heartfelt thank you for the
set of 3 biwire
cables you sold me last month (to xxxx,
my paypal account).
These cables are absolutely fantastic! I can't believe the incredible
physical build and acoustic quality you're able to deliver at such a low
price.
NR from GA
...I've had the cables burning in for several hours now.
The system I have
them in is very revealing. Old Klipsch Heresy's with cross-overs that
I
rebuilt, Dynaco PAS-3 pre-amp and ST-70 amp (both tube-based and heavily
modded by me), and a Yamaha powered subwoofer running off split outputs from
the pre-amp. All I've done today is replace some $35 (from a high-end
shop)
Mogami interconnects that I had between the pre and amp with your Belden
89259-based interconnects with Eichmann plugs.
Some very apparent sibilance that I had previously with female vocals is now
almost completely absent, even with the treble cranked up all the way.
Interesting! Bass seems to have tightened up too and I'm hearing some
detail and air that had been missing. The sound is still a little
constrained, but they've only been running for several hours. I can't
wait
to hear them in the morning after letting them cook all night! I'm
guessing
that the soundstage will really open up.
Once they are burned in real well, I'm going to try them on my cd player
just for kicks. I have Kimber Heroes there now and I like them a lot.
However, the Heroes should sound good since they cost about three times what
I paid for your cables. I might have you build me a pair for my
subwoofer
(Monsters now) if these things compete well with my Heroes on my cd player.
Love those Eichmanns plugs too. This is my first experience with them
and
they reek of quality!

I just received my cables today, and let me tell you that
I think they're
great. The highest quality cables that I only hoped for. Thank
You so
much, I'll probably be in touch with you in the near future to order some
more. I appreciate your service, you have my highest recommendation.
KO from SC
I finally got a chance to replace my old cables with the
ones you sent.
Boy, those Bullets are stiff getting them on - had to use a ball peen
hammer to drive them in;-)
Seriously, I honestly didn't expect to hear any big difference as I am
a skeptic about the lauded effects of various tweaks having any
significant effect on the final sound. I ordered yours because I just
wanted to replace my catchall of various cables with some quality
constructed ones. However, I must admit that there appears to be an
increase in detail from my turntable. The turntable cables I replaced
were a pair of ten year old Monsters, not sure which model. Perhaps
it's just a subjective response knowing there are some nice trim cables
back there, but either way just wanted you to know I am very pleased.
HT from BC
These new Eichmann Technologies' Bullet Plugs are
fantastic, I am very impressed with your quality and the sound. I have
been loving your products for the last couple of years.
Thanks again for converting me...Kimber Who?

Cables arrived today from USPS. Thanks again for
the next day
shipping. Greatly appreciated.
They look great - excellent work!!! I did not know you had Black Flex
Wrap
as I saw the Blue in one of your pictures on the site. Now that I look
again, I see the black.
For my application the 5 Pairs go from:
Outboard DAC (CI Audio VDA-1) to Pre Amp (1)
SACD & DVD-A to Pre Amp (1)
Pre Amp to CrossOver Unit (1)
CrossOver Unit to Power Amps (4 MonoBlock SS Amps) (2) (I BiAmp my Martin
Logans)
Initial impressions....(I changed from Monster Cable - Reference A,
Interlink 400, Interlink 1000 mix)
Better Bass - more defined and better punch
Smoother and better High End - Monsters have that PHZZZZ sound to them
Improved Midrange - Vocals are magnificent
Over all better separation of music - each instrument seems more defined
And this with new cables not burned in that much. I have about 4 hours
on
them.
DS from ND
The ICs and
speaker cables I ordered from you arrived today. I haven't tested the
ICs much yet, but the speaker cables are outstanding compared to the Cat-5
twisted pair braids I was using before. Thanks for a great product!
CH from NJ
The cables
arrived at my mother-in-law's safe and sound. They look great so I
plugged them in. Obviously they will need some burn-in but I was very
impressed. I had been using my own Belden 89259 with Dayton locking
RCA's (a WBT clone, I believe). I replace my cables that were between
the CD and TT and the pre-amp as well the cable going to from the
pre-amp to an active crossover. I noted an improvement in the
"air" around the voices and instruments and an already
good bass has gotten even better. The treble is somewhat muted or slower
than the old cables but I suspect that this is just a matter of time as the
cables burn-in. (I have moved my own cables to the tuner and
between the crossover and the two amps). The Eichman bullets clearly are
superior to the Dayton's.
[a follow
up]
Well my cables have settled
in. My initial impression of a somewhat laid-back treble has been
completely revised. The treble is sharp and clear but not bright. Cymbal
decays are clear and convincing. This what I had before so I can't say
that it was an improvement but then I had no complaints before either.
The biggest improvement is in imaging and soundstage width. Previously
I always felt the soundstage was somewhat compressed and try as I might with
speaker placement and room adjustments, I could not get it to extend beyond
the speakers. I attributed my problems to having the component cabinet
between the speakers (low WAF demanded some concessions to room aesthetics
-- having Magnepan's used up about all the alloted WAF from the audio gods).
With these cables, the soundstage is at least as wide as the room while the
imaging is sharp as I have ever heard it. The Eichmann's definitely
have it over the RCA's I had been using and while Jon Risch mention the
Dayton's as being acceptable in his recipe for these cables, I don't think
he ever heard the Eichmann's when he wrote it.
SL from VA
Dan, I just received the speaker cables. They
sound very good, actually better than the more expensive ones I was using
previously. Thanks again.
DM from PA
I received my order last night and would like to
thank you for assembling a wonderful cable! The workmanship was top notch,
sound was an improvement compared to my old cables, and the price was just
right!
JL from NM
I received my cables and interconnects, and I am very
impressed. I have had Kimber Cables for years and needed these for my office
stereo...I must say I think yours are superior in every way.
DG from NV
...I received the cables today. Thanks for both
the rapid shipping as well providing a high quality product at a very reasonable
cost. I DO hear the difference, particularly in the surround channels which are
utilizing the longest run of wire. The Canares are sending dramatically more
information, or are perhaps simply more efficient, with much less loss over a
long run, quite possibly a combination of both factors. The midrange is
absolutely phenomenal, much, much better than the Monster Cable I had been
previously using for years on the front, main channels. Overall a much less
"tiring" sound.... smooth, articulated and most definitely dynamic...
JD
from NJ
...I did hook up the cables last night and they
sound incredible. I was using some cheap monster cables and these just
blow them away (and I was bi-wired with those).
JH from VT
These cable are incredibly warm. I am getting
great bass response write out
of the box. I can't wait till they get broken-in. These cables SMOKE my old
monster cables. I have found new life in my old Klipsch's!! They are great
to look at as well. Very professional job. I am so impressed I am goimg to
send a message to AudioReview. Now, I am looking toward revising my surround
cables. Thanks Dan!
BY from HI
...I got the cables yesterday and tried them out
last night. WOW!! What a difference they make, even over using a
S-video connection! Monster Cable doesn't even compare to the quality that
you deliver. Thanks for a quality product and fast service.
BS from MN
...I received your L-5CFB interconnects last
week. It was fantastically built! I didn't recognize
from your pictures what the flexi wrap is. Now I really like it.
Looks great! I'm using this Canare cables to connect my CD & DVD players to
DA converter. Very good results. I would
recommend this cable to those looking for a quality video/digital cable at a low
cost...
WK from OH
...I wanted to let you know I received the cables I ordered. I
have watched a few DVD'S since that time and have
noticed the picture seems to be sharper & more life
like. The quality of the cables is excellent. I really like the flex wrap.
I've never seen it on any cables you see in the stores.
I want to thank you for the way you handled this
transaction. Very quick & professional. If I
need any more cables I wont hesitate to contact you.
DS from Texas
...The cables are built very well and perform
nicely. I'm using them
between an external DAC and a dedicated headphone amp, and the short
custom length comes in handy (jacks are only a few inches apart).
CB from New York
...I received the cable yesterday and " damn that's a nice
looking cable" . It works great, not quite as good as my Wireworld Gold
Digital, it sounds a little thinner, but it is outstanding as far as
price/performance. (note: the
Wireworld cable mentioned here costs around $500)
MW from Washington
...Got the cables and have been busy experimenting with them.
As I said
before, I'm not a big fan of esoteric cables but believe a well-designed
cable following scientifically valid electrical principles will yield
good results. Such is the case with your cables, I'm happy to report.
Without going into unneccessary details, I can say that my system's bass
response seemed very slow, and therefore muddy and "boomy", often
obscuring the mids and high frequencies prior to installing your cables
between a Theta DAC and my home-made pre-amp. I took a reading with a
spectrum analyzer/pink noise generator. After installing your cables,
the bass was monumentally tighter, sharper and more melodious. The highs
and mids are now much more noticeable, because the bass is much cleaner.
I took a post-cable analysis and sure enough, the mids and high
frequencies had changed very, very little, but the lower frequencies
showed a huge change. My system is definitely mid-fi and would be
scorned by most audiophiles (I guess I'm an audiophilistine!), but my
Polk SDA speakers never sounded so good! The change was every bit as
prominent as the change to a good Theta DAC over the built-in junk DACs
in my Hafler IRIS CD-player. I also tried the cables on my second system
for yet another confirmation of my impressions and they did wonders for
the bass on the Maggies that I use on that as well. Much less "boomy"
and indistinct (Maggies can produce a hell of a lot more bass than most
people realize, given the right amp). The cables are currently on loan
to a friend so he can try them out; he's actively looking for different
cables because of bass problems. I've recommended yours, so we'll see
what happens. Good job, and thanks a lot!
MJ from Illinois
...WOW! Great cables, very professional, tightened up mini-mons.
